Weekly Update 4/22/13

It has been a whirlwind month, and I apologize for the lack of updates. Between going to New York for Spring Break and Portland for a teaching conference, I have been a bit busy. The good news, while I was out, the substitute teacher left a glowing report!

Weekly Update 3/25/13

Woohoo! I am so proud of our third graders for completing their first Montana State Assessment. Students were so focused and determined to do their best! We will celebrate this accomplishment next week!

*Spelling Test will be Thursday, 3/28/13
Remember, Spelling Menu Activities will no longer be counted as extra credit, but will be counted as part of a student's spelling grade. I will give students time to do one activity in class.

Weekly Update 3/18/2013

Halfway! I am so proud of our third graders for finishing the first half of the Montana Comprehensive Assessment! We finished the reading portion of the test and will be taking math March 19, 20, 21. It is extremely important that students continue to be in school and on time everyday during testing. We also cannot emphasize enough the importance of a healthy breakfast, a good night of rest, and an "I can" attitude. Thank you for your help with this!


There are no spelling words this week during testing.

The time is here!

Our third graders will be taking the Montana Comprehensive Assessment in Reading and Math. We will taking Reading March 12, 13, 14 and Math March 19, 20, 21. It is extremely important that students be in school and on time everyday during testing. We also cannot emphasize enough the importance of a healthy breakfast, a good night of rest, and an "I can" attitude. Please support our efforts to make sure your third grader does his or her best. We have worked hard all year, and it is time to let it shine!
